So saddened by the loss of my "Goufy Nuffy". Walt was one of my best friend when we moved to Ringwood in 1965 and we had so much fun together for many years especially St. Patricks Day. Although it's been many years since we have seen each other I still remember those days. The lesson I get is to stay intouch with those that matter to you. Love Rich & Lori Gash

News of Walt's passing has brought a great feeling of sadness and loss, and a huge flood of memories. Memories of growing up in JBA, attending school together, playing hockey, and so on. I treasured the times we were able to reconnect periodically over the years in JBA during the summers and catch up on old times. Walt was a great guy, gregarious and kind, the salt of the earth. To Mary, Pat and Mark: Barbara and I wish to extend to you and your families, and to Walt's US family, our most heartfelt condolences.

Trout fishing at steady water and Larrys pond. Walt & Mary Adams singing in festival on the hill north side. I will miss my friend, cousin and neighbor Walt. With Sympathy to family. Johnny Adams

Walter was such a pleasant and gentle man. I looked forward to seeing him in the summer time during his visits at home on Fogo Island. Walter was very active, I would see him often walking the trail in in Joe Batts Arm, he would always stop and say hello. He was very kind and had a big heart. I am saddened to hear of his passing and send my sincere condolences to his family and friends.
