CAMBIE, Bruce Carleton. Born 24 August 1942 and passed away on 31 October 2021, surrounded by his family. Bruce will be sadly missed by Ingrid, daughters Caroline, Kristin, Annemarie, son in laws Per and Andrew, and his 6 grandchildren, Torbien and Pelle (Melbourne), Ulrika and Anneli (Stockholm) Austen and Charlotte (Tauranga). A celebration of Bruce's life will be held at Woodhill, 167 Grange Road Otumoetai, Tauranga, on 24 November at 11am. Due to current restrictions, the service is limited to 50 invited guests. Please email Annemarie to confirm attendance: [email protected]. Following the service, a reception will be held at the Tauranga Yacht Club. In lieu of flowers, the family request that donations are made to the Tauranga Alzheimers Organisation, with full details on their website: https://alzheimers.org.nz/tauranga/

Dear Ingrid, Caroline, Kristin, Annemarie, Per, Andrew, family, and friends,

On behalf of Alumni relations and development and the Faculty of Science at The University of Auckland, we express our condolences on hearing the news of Bruce's passing.

Since completing his bachelor's in chemistry from our university in 1963, Bruce's contributions to his alma mater as a member of the University of Auckland Society and event guest has been valued by fellow alumni and the university.

The University of Auckland community wish you strength and health as you remember and celebrate Bruce's life.
