Dear Josie, Chris, Cody and family,
It is with great sadness and shock that I learned of Earl's passing. Earl was one of life's genuine characters - always quick with a joke. He was generous, kind, funny and loving. He worked so hard to build everything he had and was clever and gifted at his craft and in his business. There was nothing about cars he didn't know and with his amazing memory he had an encyclopedic knowledge of everything automotive. But it was his family that he was most devoted to. He was a loving husband and a very proud father and grandfather. He was a great neighbour and became someone I was proud to call a true friend and to entrust as a godfather to Harrison. I will always cherish the times spent with Josie and Earl and can honestly say life will be lot emptier without this wonderful man and friend. I can only imagine the grief Josie and the boys are feeling and hope some comfort can be found in the knowledge of his genuine love for his family and of a man who lived life doing what he wanted, where he wanted and with the woman he truly loved. Rest well Uncle Curly.
