Guy will be sorely missed by his friends in Cambodia where he lived for several years and made many return visits after moving to Africa. A rememberance get together is taking place in Phnom Penh on Sunday 14 August for those remaining friends to share memories. All other friends of his will be welcome to join us.

Deeply saddened by the loss of a dear friend. I worked with Guy over several years in Sierra Leone and he was a truly inspirational man to be around. I will remember his many words of wisdom, usually shared over drinks at the NP petrol station in Kenema. Condolences to Guy's family and many fellow friends.

Thoughts and condolences to Guy's family and friends. I worked with Guy in Tanzania. He had a positive impact on all he met - with his caring thoughtful presence, and through his work. He was considering coming out this way again to work. Many of us were very much hopeful it would happen. We are saddened, and he is missed. Best wishes to all who knew him.

My condolences to Guy's family and friends. We were the last of the NZ Wildlife Service trainees, and while all that came to an end 29 years ago the memories of good times, antics and escapades are still fresh and news of Guy's untimely death came as a shock. Rest in peace Guy.

To Guy's family and friends. I am so sorry to hear that Guy passed away. I always remember Guy as a very friendly person who always seemed to have something to smile about. I really admire and respect what he has achieved in Wildlife Conservation. He really has made the world a better place.

Guy Marris was my friend, a very good and kind friend, full of compassion, much intelligence, and a great sense of humor and an immense zest for life. I was hoping to see him soon, and this news has shcoked me. My condolences to the relatives and friends of Guy Marris, gentleman and noble soul.
