Norman Is a legend I never saw a legend in real before, although we didn't spend many time But I always remember he was a nice man and good to any people,he liked to taking and was interested in history, he was wise with knowlage, he maked an very good example for every one, from Norman and his nice family I learned one thing a real noble not judge By clothes or money But with a good heart and humble, Norman Is gone But the memory and spirit Can last forever, that Is life meaning.

Thanks to Norman for all his chats imparting knowledge about early Auckland history, and the various Chinese characters that gave so much to it, and for his support in keeping the great sides of Chinese culture and products immortal.

NG, Norman. Passed away on 27 January 2021. Aged 88. Dad was very hardworking after coming to New Zealand as a war refugee. He was a kind loving partner to Mum of 53 years as well as an amazing father to his 5 children. Dad's favourite saying to us was "to be kind and humble" which he practiced all his life. He never wore fancy clothes, nor drive fancy cars. Dad protected and provided for us children and was the unsung hero. Dad your loss is deeply felt. Gone but never forgotten. Miss you so much. We will continue your legacy. Will meet you in heaven. Love you. Raymond, Jeehee and Martin.
