Peter BOWERS Obituary

BOWERS, Peter Henry. On 24th February 2021, aged 83 years. Passed away peacefully with Dave and Shiralee by his side, after a short illness. Dearly loved husband of the late Shirley, loved Dad of Michael (deceased), Dave and father-in-law of Shiralee. Grandad of Caitlan and Zara and much loved "Pete" to Craig, Mark and their families. "May the winds of love blow softly And whisper for you to hear That we will always love you And forever keep you near" A private family service and cremation has been held for Pete.

Peter and his late wife Shirley, were very good friends of my late husband and myself over the last 50 years. They were charming hosts who provided a NZ home for Italian exchange students who came once a year to Hato Paora College, Feilding, Peter even made a trip to Italy with us in 2007. In recent times Peter and I often phoned one another and remembered so many events that had filled our lives. I will miss hearing his voice and the memories we shared. May God Bless you and your family.
