SORENSON, R. G. (Bob). The Auckland Rugby Union wish to extend their deepest sympathies to the family and friends of former Auckland player and coach R G (Bob) Sorenson. Bob's playing career spanned from 1942 - 1949 with a total of 40 games for Auckland, his commitment to the game continued as he carried on to coach the Auckland provincial side from 1964 - 1966. Bob will be remembered as a very well-respected member of our community and friend to many.
