We extend our thoughts & aroha to Judy at this sad time. Roger was a urbane man who will be keenly missed. My sisters & I will remember him fondly. Debbi Thyne (nee George)

That is so sad to hear. I worked for Roger for a number of years in the 80's. He was a real gentleman and I absolutely loved working for him. He became a friend and we would often chat in town. Condolences to the family

Roger was my Uncle and he was a caring person with a great sense of humour and always made you feel comfortable. As we live in Australia, we did not see him often, the last time being at my father, Geoff Woods' 90th birthday. Roger was always interested in what we were up to and how things were with us. We will miss him and his smiling face. Another one of life's great gifts, taken from our grasp. Our thoughts go to Judy, Anne and Jeroen and their family, and to Shelley and Chris. Debra and Lance Melrose.
