As we travel through life we all experience different events which have a profound effect upon us as individuals and our attitude towards others. For some of us we are truly blessed and so lucky when during our journey our paths cross with an outstanding human whose characteristics provide us with the right direction and personal objectives we strive to achieve.
My dear friend Roger (Choc) Maxwell was one of these people. The military draws out and emphasises the good characteristics in all soldiers. Having served with Roger I experienced his outstanding attributes first hand. Roger can only be described as a first class soldier and officer. He demonstrated exactly how a loyal and trust worthy soldier should act. He was the shining example of how you can be tough without being rough.
Not only did I have the privilege of serving with Roger, but I also had the great pleasure of having Roger as a close and valued friend. Roger was a kind, considerate, loving man. He also demonstrated how one can and should enjoy life.
He will always remain in our thoughts and hearts and one day we will meet again. Until then may God hold Roger safe in the palm of his hand.Gail and family are in our thoughts and prayers.
Love
Lyndsay and Norman Fry
