Over 50 years ago, I had the privilege of working with Bob Pebley as youth director while attending Bethany College. He was so supportive, and set an example as an engaged and loving pastor. The whole Pebley clan was fun to be with. Later Bob co-officiated at our wedding. Our paths crossed several times over the years, and we enjoyed catching up. We are grateful for his friendship, and his service to the church. He will miss him, but are grateful for his well-lived life.

Dr. Pebley was a beloved minister of the First Christian Church in Washington, PA. He was a great leader of the church and I always found his sermons to be inspirational. My sincere sympathy to his family and friends. I remember when his daughter died and the following Sunday's sermon was about Lisa and his anticipation of being reunited with her one day. There is joy in heaven ! God bless them all.

So sorry to hear of the passing of my former neighbor on South Watson Ave in Washington. A lovely family, a wonderful neighbor and a blessing to our community. My Sincere sympathy and prayers go out to the family during this difficult time.
