CHARLENE ELIZABETH
Salt Springs - Charlene E. Chesser, 76, passed away November 21, 2017. Born on August 20, 1941, in Gainesville, FL to James H. and Myrtice K. Dennis, she was raised in Starke, FL and graduated from Bradford High School. Charlene worked over 34 years with the Marion County School Board. She was an active member of First Baptist Church, Salt Springs.
She is survived by her loving husband of 55 years, Willis; son, Dennis (Kristy); daughter, Dena Stevens (Kenny); sisters, Kay Hinson (Audy), Henree Martin (Jimmy), Martha Stalzer (Bernie); three grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Memorial Service will be 1:00 PM, Saturday, December 2, 2017, at First Baptist Church Salt Springs, Salt Springs, FL with Pastors Eric Gervais and Charles Litzell officiating. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Hospice of Marion County. Arrangements under the care of Countryside Funeral Home, Anthony, FL

I have known all of you for many years. I baby sat Dennis and Dena when they were little. (I think all the McQueen girls did.) Willis, Dennis and Dena, my thoughts and prayers are with you. May God comfort you during this difficult time. Willis, I always thought a lot of you and Charlene. Just know you will be reunited again one day.
