What a lovely lady. I met her as a Eucharistic minister at Queen of Peace. She also lived in my neighborhood so I stopped to see her in December and even though she was sick she still hugged me and gave me a kiss. May she Rest In Peace. My condolences to her family.

Oh how she will be missed, such a loving and caring one. She always would call me to check on "our josh" my oldest son who has a rare hip problem. I can say she also was very special to my heart. True fighter too. I will miss her more than ones might know. I know heaven gained a special Angel! God Bless and big hugs.

Aunt Lois and my mother, her sister Muriel, had a deep and special bond their whole lives and I am so happy to have spent the time with her that I did when we all visited, and later in life. I fondly remember the wonderfully fun, and sometimes even rollicking, parties in the Bruns home in Dolton, Illinois when I was growing up. Aunt Lois and Uncle Al always did their best to make everyone feel welcome.

My Aunt Lois gave the most caring and warm hugs, almost always with a little whisper in the ear, and her playful winks will be missed forever.

Many fond memories of Lois, great laughs and was a wonderful friend. In the past few years did not see much of each other but it always felt like it was just yesterday when we did. Now she in peace with her Al.
