My friend, Paula, I just learn of your death, how I wish, I had been there with you. Your death caught me off guard, but I know you are rejoicing in God's Kingdom, where we all hope to be one day. I will always remember your last visit to my home in Atlanta, Ga., I remember the fun we had just talking about our days at Paine College, sitting on the outside deck in 35-degree weather at 2:00 AM and most of all, your sound advice that you always gave to me. My friend, I will miss you. I know you are in company with Christ who died, for us, so we can wipe all our tears away. As we know, those who die still live in God's presence, their lives change but do not end. I pray in hope for the Fordham family: your daughter, mom, dad, sister, nephew, niece and all others. May the Peace of Christ be with them...
Your Friend,
Sharyn Doanes Bergin

A love for music is what you introduced me to when I was in grade school. If only you knew how that was an escape for me when I was a kid. Thank you for that Ms. Paula. Ain't nothing gonna break your stride. Nobody gonna slow you down... oh no, you gotta keep on moving. I pray God strengthens your family.

To the Fordham Family:
Sometimes in our lives, there are winds around us that are too powerful to stand against, yet in the midst of the storm, the presence of God is with us (He is surrounding you with His love also love and care coming from family and friends). May He guide and strengthen everyone in the days ahead without your loved one.
With Deepest Sympathy,

Paula was a beautiful person and will be missed dearly. I had the pleasure of working with her at Cox Communications for a while. She was always pleasant and professional. She was always ready to express her faith in God. My wife who was also her classmate and I had opportunity to pray with her some weeks ago. Her faith was strong but now she is resting in the arms of the Lord.

Ms. Fordham called me her son Everytime I would say something on FB she would always inbox me. I meet Mrs. Fordham years ago when I was in the 3 grade. Here spirit was as sweet as her mom's. May God continue to give the family comfort and heal your broken heart. Continue to look to the hills.
