HENRY ROLAND 'HANK'
Ocala - Henry Roland 'Hank' Ware, 89, Ocala, FL passed away February 25, 2018 at the Crystal River Health & Rehab Center. Hank was born in Columbus, GA on June 3, 1928 to the late William R. and Mattie (Green) Ware and came to Ocala from Miami in 1994 where he retired as a Licensed Funeral Director. He served our country in the U.S. Navy and was a communicant at Queen of Peace Catholic Church. He also was a licensed pilot and member of the Ocala Elks Lodge and National Rifle Association.
Left to cherish his memory are his wife, Linda (Leggett) Ware; his children, William Thomas Ware, Covington, LA; Mary Drumm, New Port Richey, FL; Robert 'Buzz' Ware, Miami Beach; Marsha Treter, Ocala; Robyn Johnson, Johnstown, PA; brother, William J. Ware, Savannah, GA; 13 grandchildren; and several great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a son, Robert Ware; and wives, Marilynn Papworth Ware and Mattie Lee Sayers Ware.
He has many long time friends made during his 48 years as a funeral director.
Graveside Military Services are scheduled for Monday, March 5, 2018 at 2:00 PM from Florida National Cemetery with V.F.W. Post #7122 officiating. Friends are invited to gather at the Chas E Davis Funeral Home, Inverness, FL, at 12 noon. The procession will depart for the cemetery at 1:15 PM.

I have been friends with Hank since 1988 when he and Mattie lived near me in Miami-Lakes, Fl. I loved them both with my entire being...we remained friends. My Condolences go out to Linda and his entire family. What a great loss!
