Edgar "Ed" C. Brown, 75, passed away September 11, 2018 after a long illness.
Born in Sevierville, Tenn. on February 25, 1943, Ed lived in the Akron area all of his life. Ed was a veteran of 101st Army Airborne Division. After the Army, Ed came back home and worked as a tire builder and later as a welder. He was a life long member of the Fraternal Order of the Orioles. He was preceded in death by his father, Robert; mother, Anna Lou; and son, Don. Ed is survived by his wife, Robin; daughter, Sandi Brown; son, John E. Brown and son, Ed J. Brown; sisters, LaDonna (Jim) Grace of Akron, Delores (Chuck) Hetzler of Clinton, Eileen Tatonetti of Alabama; four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
A private family event will take place at a later date. A special thank you to the VA and PAC Team; also to Cindi Rodgers for taking wonderful care of Ed and our family and to my family for always being there.
