Betty Jean Forshee
July 26, 1928 - Feb. 6, 2019

OKLAHOMA CITY
Betty was born in OKC to Adolphus & Elizabeth (McKee) Thompson. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Vernon; son, Hal Stuart Forshee; and sister, Mary Hawk. Betty is survived by her children, Richard (Debbie) Forshee, Scott (Karen) Forshee, and Mary (Patrick) Doyle; 11 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren and many other family members and friends. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Skyline Urban Ministry, 500 SE 15th, OKC, OK 73129; or Grace United Methodist Church in memory of Betty. The family would like to extend a very special thank-you to Physician's Choice Hospice and Heritage Point of OKC for their kind care given to Betty. Visitation will be 1-8 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 10, 2019, at Buchanan Funeral Service. Services to celebrate her life will be at 11 a.m. Monday, Feb. 11, 2019, at Grace United Methodist Church.
