 Memories & Condolences
This Guest Book will remain online permanently.

My sympathies to Mrs. Lange and to my friend, Jim, on the loss of a dear and respected husband and father. I enjoyed many interesting stories in high school about life at the Lange's house. Jim Lange was an icon who explained the perspective of "Okies" to the world. Through his work, many people came to understand the gentle humor of politics. Many thanks for the years of daily amusement not only for myself but for the Lindsey E. Martin family.

Time and distance do not diminish the memories of this icon from my youth. My belated condolences to his family, especially to my friend Jim.

Jim came to my church and gave his talk and drew cartoons. We all loved him. I worked at the Oklahoman and he was always friendly and upbeat. I will miss his cartoons.

What can I say about our Uncle Jim that hasn't already been said by others on this guest book. We have a great family and Uncle Jim was so very important to all of us. What a unique, funny, loving man he was, one who never judged others, one who made people laugh. We will miss you, always love you and as much as I hate scotch whisky, I will be toasting you with a shot of scotch tonight. Aunt Helen, Nancy, Jim and Robbie I am with you in thought even though I can't be with you in person. Love you all. Jackie
