Aunt Helen was a special person and we can see her in heaven visiting with her family and all the wonderful friends she made over her 99 years. We know God welcomed her with open arms, ❤

We first met Helen when we were considering Concordia as a place for my mother to live. Once we met Helen and she found out I knew her son Paul, Mother and I became her new best friends. She always had something good to say when we met. When my mother did move into Concordia, Helen slipped a birthday card under Moms door. The card said she did not know when Moms birthday was, but Mom could use it when her birthday came and she invited Mom to her apartment for a visit any time. That is how I remember Helen, always hospitable and friendly. Mom & I will miss seeing and talking with her.

Helen was my across the street neighbor for over 50 years and what a blessing that was for me. We did a lot of visiting and went on walks together. Many times the doorbell would ring and when I opened the door, she would be standing there holding something delicious that she had baked. Everybody on Oakridge Drive loved Helen. She will be greatly missed
