Gene and Cheryl Allen remember Jim as being an especially generous neighbor with his talents as a woodworker, friend, and his very elegant piano concerts at his home in Oklahoma City. He was also the best weatherman Gene and Cheryl have known and Gene worked along side Jim at channel 4 for many years. We shall certainly miss him.

I never knew nor met Mr. Williams, but I do recall him being the WKY-TV meteorologist during my childhood. Later in life I became a meteorologist (Air Force weather officer) and can better appreciate his work with early TV weather and weather radar. Also, I was pleased to read he also had a military weather background. RIP. My condolences to his family.
