I'm very sorry I wasn't able to attend Joan's tribute today! I fully intended to come but had Vertigo when I awoke this morning.
I first met Joan and Bill when my sister & brother-in-law lived in their little rent house on SE 59th Street where one of my nieces (Elaine) was born almost 65 years ago. Bodine Baptist Church was just down 59th Street where Bro. Bill was Pastor.
We didn't have much contact while they were in Puerto Rico as missionaries, but renewed acquaintances when they moved back to Oklahoma. Joan & I became FB friends.

She was quite a character and very witty! I enjoyed her posts so much! She made me laugh! I felt like I knew her friends, about her dog and we talked about her yard & beautiful flowers and other life experiences....she was a very vivacious & energetic lady who loved life!!!! I think the last time I saw her was when we went to visit a cousin at Deaconess Hospital where Joan was a volunteer.
She was such a beautiful person inside and out!!!!! She loved her Lord and her Family. She and Bro. Bill lived what they believed.......genuine Christian testimonies! I loved them❣
She (they) will be sorely missed .......I have confidence that we Will see them again!!
My sincere condolences to all the family!
Hugs and Prayers,
Pauline Littlejohn
