We have been friends with Nancy McNatt since grade school days at Gatewood. In fifth grade, there were three Nancy's in our class and in order to distinguish them the teacher added the middle name to two of us. Since there were two Nancy Anns, Nancy McNatt had the privilege of being called "Nancy", (for which I was envious) the other was Nancy Ann, and I was "Nancy Kaye". We parted ways in junior high school...Fred and I attending Taft and Nancy attending Harding. We reunited at Classen in 1955 and shared wonderful experiences of shared faith and school activities. Fred attended Epworth Methodist Church and I became a part of their youth activities as we dated. With the "faith in Jesus" explosion during and following the 1956 Billy Graham Crusade in OKC, we formed deep and frequent relationships for which I will always be grateful. Our lives reconnected as young couples and parents in the late '60s, and especially in 1980 as our paths crossed at A Chance to Change. Classen reunion gatherings and recovery programs kept us connected in more recent years. It was so sad to watch Nancy's failing memory but I still cherished occasional visits, even lunch with her at Towne Village. Each of her children have connected with our children at times and Nancy and Frank were always a joy to be with.
We were dressed to attend the service this morning but Fred's anxiety about the weather prevented us from coming. Please know our love and prayers are with all your family.

Nancy was my friend and gave me lots of help for many years. She was a beauty and had a positive spirit! I can't attend the service but I know it will be as meaningful as Frank's was. I'm sure she'll be missed as she was loved.Sincerely,Karen Beck
