Im truly sorry I wasnt there. Too much time has past.
You were very important person in my young life. Our visits were always brief and our connection was your daughter Abbie. You must be proud of all she has accomplished! Rest now.

Abra, Raina, and all of Sherrill's wonderful grandchildren, please accept my late condolences. Sherrill Glenn-Allen made her society a better place. She was a brilliant, spirited, principled person. She was my mother's truest friend in their youth, and in their older years, she went far out of her way to help my mother in her time of greatest need. Sherrill told the best stories, and everyone gravitated to her. She was extremely proud of you all, and rightly so, because each of you carries on her joy, her zest, her way of making life into art, and her compassion. You are the gift that Sherrill left the world. I'm sorry for your loss and sorry that we've lost touch. But I'm glad you're out there, and glad Sherrill lived.

Abra and Raina,
I am so sorry to hear about the loss of your wonderful Mother. Most of my happier childhood memories revolve around our sleepovers, trips to OKC with your Mom, dancing at Bohemian Hall, and the terrific stories your Mom would tell us. I hope you are all doing as well as you can under the circumstances.
