Skyla, I can't believe it's been over seven years. It feels like a lifetime has passed since you were taken from us. I don't remember you very well, I'm not sure if I just have a very bad memory or I just don't want to remember something so painful. Either way, I don't remember how strong our blossoming friendship was, or if it was even blossoming. But I do remember being at falls creek with you, going to choir practice, getting Icees, when it rained, and spending time with you in the bunks. I really wish you had gotten to grow up with me, and I can't help but wonder what would've happened differently in the people's you loved day to day lives. You were an incredible energy to be around, and I wish you would've gotten to live out your dream of being a vet.

It is encouraging to know that soon God will wipe every tear from their eyes and death will be no more nor will pain and mourning and outcry be anymore. That is our hope for the future in our Almighty God.
