March 3, 1955 - July 5, 2018 YUKON Teresa Lynn Queen, 63, passed away on Thursday, July 5, 2018, in Edmond, OK. Terri was born March 3, 1955, in Fort Sill, OK to Jackie & Bette (Wilmoth) Brooks. She attended high school in Mustang, OK and attended Central State University in Edmond, OK. She is survived by her husband of 32 years, Brian Queen; mother, Bette Brooks; son, Jason Darrow and wife Charlie; two granddaughters who were the love of her life, Aubrey and Cam Darrow; son, Brett Queen and wife Barbara; brother, Jeff Brooks; sister, Karen Shropshire; and aunt, Louise Fent. Terri was preceded in death by her father, Jackie Brooks. Terri had many interests, including writing, previously reporting for The Oklahoman newspaper, writing for American Airlines and other magazines. However, her main joy was photography which opened the world to many adventures and friends. Terri was always ready to help both new and experienced photographers. A special reference is made to photographers and friends, Kyma Smith, Kathy Broad, and Christi Crowder. Terri's life would seem too short to many but those who were touched by her, understood the quality of life she exhibited far exceeded the quantity of time she was here. I love you baby and I will see you again. A Celebration of Life service will be held 2 p.m. Tuesday, July 10, 2018, at the Yanda & Son Funeral Home Chapel in Yukon, OK.
