I knew Cal and Moselle well over 40 years ago when a group of us, so very young and not long graduated from college, hung out together. Frank Findlay's farmhouse was a favorite spot, but we also played a lot of bridge at Cal and Moselle's. We were not particularly useful to anyone but ourselves, and pursued and engaged in our own amusements.

Cal, or Arthur as I occasionally heard him called, was hip, glib, and at ease with himself as much as anyone I knew. Larry and I took a trip with him to Keeneland to watch the races, and, of course, bet on the "ponies". Naturally, he picked a 30 to 1 horse that won. I was never sure whether his choice was due to skill or luck, but he would have averred that it was pure skill.

On Moselle's sister Barbara's advice, I applied and was offered a job as a Flight Attendant for American Airlines living in Los Angeles, Nashville, and finally Boston. It has been many years since I have seen Cal, but my memory of him will always be of a tall, lanky young man with an easy smile and confident air, able to talk at length about whatever was of particular interest to him.

I knew of Bill while in H,S. at rival John Marshall; I got to know Bill while a Phi Delt at OU. For the next 15 years he would weave his way in and thru my life with good cheer. I had not seen him 35 years, but I thought of him often. He was entertaining, he was aggravating, but he was always a good and memorable ride!

I met Bill while working at Santa Fe Crossing. He was so full of life and truly genuine. There's never been anything that comes close to Santa Fe Crossing. Miss the people and the place. RIP
