Angelo J. LoguidiceCANASTOTA >> Angelo J. Loguidice, 83, Spencer Street, died Tuesday evening, Jan. 9, 2018, in the Extended Care Facility of the Oneida Healthcare Center, where he had been a resident since September of 2014.Born in Canastota, on July 17, 1934, he was the son of Augustine and Francis Mortise Loguidice. A lifelong resident of Canastota, Angelo was a graduate of Canastota High School and Syracuse Barber College.For many years, Angelo owned and operated Angelo's Barber Shop in Chittenango. He was a communicant of St. Agatha's Church.Surviving are his sister and two brothers-in-law, Lena and Benedict Lupica of Nashua, N.H. and Anthony J. Di Veronica of Canastota; and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a sister, Margaret "Peggy" Di Veronica on Sept. 4, 2012.Funeral services will be held 9:30 a.m. Tuesday from St. Agatha's Church, where the Funeral Mass will be celebrated by the Rev. Stephen Wirkes, pastor. Interment will be made in St. Agatha's Cemetery. Friends may call at the Campbell-Dean Funeral Home, Inc., 300 S. Peterboro St., Canastota, from 3-7 p.m., Monday. Sending my deepest sympathy to Angelo's entire family. He was a dear friend to Ross and I for many years. I loved to chat with him at the Casa Mia and listen to all of his Barber stories.
