Linda L. MoonenONEIDA >> Linda L. Moonen, 66, Creek Road, Oneida, died early Wednesday morning, Dec. 6, 2017, in the Extended Care Facility of the Oneida Healthcare Center, where she had been a patient for the past four weeks.Born in Oneida, on March 31, 1951, she was a daughter of Glenn C. and Mildred F. Brown Raynore. A lifelong resident of the area, Linda was a graduate of Oneida High School, Class of 1970 and the Utica School of Commerce. She married Vaughn L. Moonen in Oneida on Nov. 28, 1970.Prior to her retirement, Linda was secretary for Jim Nichols Contracting. She was of the Christian faith.Surviving besides her husband, Vaughn, are three daughters, Francine E. Moonen and Kelly Moonen and Kyle Hembach, all of Oneida and Teresa Hopkins of Keystone Heights, Fla.; two sons, Brian C. Moonen of Oneida, and Michael L. Moonen of Syracuse; two sisters and one brother-in-law, Shirley Shepard of Brewerton and Patricia and Joseph Cesario of Canastota; one brother and sister-in-law, Charles and Becky Raynore of Liverpool; five grandchildren, Christina, Jacob, and Nicholas Hopkins, Alexis Moonen and Joshua Hembach; one great-grandchild, Evelynn Moonen and several nieces and nephews. Also surviving are her dogs, Regis and Gigi and her cat, Hemi. She was predeceased by a sister, Beverly Mosca. Linda was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Monday from the Campbell-Dean Funeral Home, Inc., 300 S. Peterboro St., Canastota, with the Rev. Dave Johnson, officiating. Interment will be made in Wampsville Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home 12-2 p.m., Monday.
