So there was this time, my Brother from a different Mother, and I were fishing "up the river", as we would say. I was in the front of the boat, Brian was in the rear, and we were anchored up. But the rear of the boat was moving around somewhat, and that was really irritating "B". So he kept throwing the anchor toward the river bank, trying to get that thing to hold. 20lb. anchor. I am just shaking my head at him every time I heard the splash of that anchor as he tried and tried to get that thing further from the boat and get a good "hold"! The anchor was just rolling back down the river bank every time he threw it out and ending up back under the boat! So, he threw it with all his might, and I hear this gigantic kersplash! I knew what had happened before I ever turned around..."B" had thrown himself overboard!!! Luckily the water we were in was only about 4 feet deep, but the look on his face as he walked back to the boat was just priceless! I said 'Brian, there is a ski ladder on the back, fold it down and climb aboard'! What a moment, out of a few thousand we had together!!! Needless to say, our fishing trip was over for that day.
