I always enjoyed visiting with Larry each year. This is a man who knows how to live. His heart always seemed to be in the right place and his focus was on the other person. He showed up with a smile on his face and when finished you had one too. A bright star has left our dark sky. Thanks, Larry, for being who you were for so many others. May God bless you and keep you close to Him.

The sharing about USC was particularly interesting to me as this was around the time I first starting coming to the Col. to the games. It is nice to know he was out there. I am still attending all home games at age 81. That precedes Traveler as mascot (endowment by Mtb. classmate, Wm. Tilley)and the retiring band director! A fellow Montebello High School Oiler became a Yell Leader in about 1955, Barney Rosenzweig, and went on to become the producer of the Cagney & Lacy TV series and stayed heavily involved in USC.
