Mr. Taylor was not only a great teacher, but also a good friend.

Mr. Taylor was my art history and English teacher when I went to Tustin High . I'm sorry to hear of his passing. I also have had cancer not an easy battle. He was a tough teacher I'm sure that helped him through his fight.

Rayner Taylor had a huge impact on me. He was a great art teacher and a great artist. He taught Art Production, a class where students delivered artwork for the school's use, i.e., banners, yearbook, signage, etc. I learned so much from him that I have used through out my life. Graphic design, balance, lighting and contrast.

Students who ran for school officers had to have a teacher sponsor and Mr. Taylor was my sponsor when I ran for President of our school. Mr Taylor wrote my winning speech and gave me full credit for it... He was always so calm and amicable. He truly cared about his school and his students and he will be missed.

Mr.Taylor was my art teacher, 2 years junior high and 4 years of high school. No one had a bigger positive impact on my life the he. More than just a teacher, he inspired me to reach for my goals, mentored me, was my friend, and instilled confidence in me.
I had tried for years to locate him and sadly, never did.
I truly loved and will always love him!
One of my favorite memories was as he was walking away, holding Jasons hand as his son was skipping along beside him. Funny, because it was also the only time I can remember him not wearing the burgundy smock he wore at school!
His memory will always make my heart smile.
Rest In Peace Mr. T... I love you more than you were ever aware of!
