Sending thoughts of love and support to Gorel's family
November 16, 2019
Gorel was my first weaving teacher at the Little Loom House in the early 70's. How kind and strict she was! I am so grateful to her for sparking my love of all fiber arts. She encouraged and expected excellence from her students. She inspired us!
Over all the years of shared adventures at weaving workshops, guild meetings, gallery exhibits and the like, I am most grateful that we shared ideas, perspectives, laughter and even tears.
I honor Gorel in my heart with cherished memories of her wit and insight, her kindness in friendship her and the beauty of her life.

Gorel played volleyball for a number of years.
It was such a pleasure to play with her at MAC. Such a kind understanding helpful person. She surprised my three sons by bringing them a hand made gingerbread house. So many wonderful memories of how she led her life.

From the family, thanks for all your kind thoughts.

If you wish, please bring a small textile ornament or a single flower to the service for a shared bouquet or that can be hung on a missive tree.

And please use the Taylors Ferry Road entrance to Riverview Cemetery.
