I remember Myrthle just like that picture. She was such a beautiful and kind person. I loved her accent and laughter. She would come to our house on many occasions just to smooth things down in a not so calm household. I wished I kept in contact with her more after we got to talk on the phone,Thanks to you Chris for making it happen. She and your family will be in my thought and prayers. . Find peace!

Myrthle was a very lovely hostess and very gracious to me. She was deeply loved by her grand daughters.

Lived right across the street on WestView Road (Christmas Light House) from Myrthle and Frank for years. Lost track of Myrthle when she moved after Frank passed. However, always think of the two of them EVERY Christmas. In 1981 when my daughter was 1 year old, The Griffin's gave us 2 Christmas ornaments. As I unpack my ornament boxes every year just last night I spent recalling Myrthle wondering where and what she was doing, reflecting on such great neighbors and this morning saw her obituary. She was so kind and loving to me and our family. I have wonderful memories of a grand lady. Sending prayers and love.
