It was with sadness that I read that Dick has passed away. Dick had a major influence on my career in psychology, and as a graduate student worked close with him on a number of projects. Dick was one of my primary mentors as well as a wonderful human being. My condolences to Pat and his children. With many fond memories Dick.

Sorry to hear about Dick's passing. He was one of my all time favorite professors. I loved his classes.

Dick was one of my dissertation advisors - a mentor, an amazingly sharp teacher with a wonderful sense of humor. He was kind, supportive, and demanding and made all of his students better researchers.

Dick also introduced me to the joys of single A baseball through Emerald games.

He was the kind of graduate advisor that all students should be fortunate enough to have.
