Mr. Maltase is what I always called him. We were neighbors. I babysat the kids. He and Karen were always sweet, generous and kind. It was hard for me to start calling them Bill and Karen. Back in the 'good old days', it was always Mr. and Mrs. You were good neighbors!
I remember a time when I was visiting my mom and a squirrel had a couple of green apples in it's mouth and it was running around in her backyard. We were laughing and Bill heard us and wanted to laugh along with us. We tried to explain what was so funny. He started laughing at our explanation of the whole thing but I don't know if he ever understood because we were laughing so hard. Liz (Gallup) Bolles

Karen and family, where do I start, I can only imagine your grief. Bill and I go way back when he worked for Sites Silver Wheel and I worked for Minger truck line , but I really got to know him and call him friend the last 35 years.Bill and I had the same sense of humor, he made going to work alot of fun. He will be truly missed.

Billy & I are cousins and grew up in Chicago & here. Every memory of him brings smiles & laughter. He was a good son, brother, husband & father, and cousin. He always made the family gathering more fun. My heart is sadden by his loss, but proud to have him as family. You have left behind a wonderful legacy, thanks Billy. love & prayers, Bobby & Johnette
