Family and Friends lost a such a good man, far too soon. I personally will miss our long talks on Point North, when Arland would walk by with his dog. I would be working at my desk and see Arland out my window and I would jump up to go out and chat with my friend.
Our chats were most often about our families and our grand kids. I don't know which one of us loved our grand kids the most? I know Arland would say he did!
Of course another love was the Keowee Key Club and Community, his neighbors, the residents and the KK associates at all levels in the community. Arland did so much to promote the club and community, he helped make KK a better place to live, play and work.
I know he is already busy chairing a couple social committees, in a much larger community.
Arland will be missed by many, and I will think of him daily, as I look up from my desk to Point North Drive.
Arland fought a courageous battle against a dreaded disease, he left this world too soon and he will be missed by many.
