I never met Mr. Barco but he was a 1942 graduate of Timpson High School. About 5 to 6 years ago he joined our alumni site. I called to say thank you for joining. To my surprise he answered his cell phone....he said he was at work but on break...at that time he was about 88 and wanted to know about class reunions...wow...RIP Carroll.

I have known Carroll since the late 1970s and he was an outstanding lawyer and judicial hearing officer. His daughter, former Judge Carolyn Freeman, inherited Carroll's outstanding patience, judicial demeanor, fairness and legal brilliance. Carroll was very easy to speak with informally and always had a very positive attitude and outlook on life. He will be missed.

Carroll Barco was truly a great person and friend. He was well respected in the legal community as well being a gentleman lawyer. He was a great Hearing Officer after he retired from the active practice of law....I will always remember his gentle ways and his honesty....
