Col. Elbracht Obituary

Elbracht, Col. William 91, loving husband, caring father, wonderful friend, passed on Veteran's Day, November 11, 2013. Born in Long Island, NY, William was stationed in Orlando, FL where he met his future wife, Patricia. Married for 69 years, they raised 3 children, traveled the world, and eventually retired from the United States Air Force in FL. William is preceded in death by his oldest son, Lt. William M. Elbracht, who served his country as an Army helicopter pilot in Vietnam. He is survived by adoring wife Patricia Elbracht; son Richard A. Elbracht (Sandra F. Elbracht) of Jacksonville, FL; daughter K. Elise Elbracht of Statesboro, GA; granddaughter Renae M. Baker (Dennis R. Baker) of Statesboro, GA; great grandsons, Ian E. Baker and Michael D. Baker of Statesboro, GA. A Graveside Service will be held 2 PM, Thursday, November 14 at Palm Cemetery, 1005 N New York Ave, Winter Park, FL. Memorial contributions may be made in William's name to the Salvation Army.
