My sincere condolences to the family. May God provide the strength you need during these moments.

I will never forget the first Harry Potter book you ever placed in my hands, and how I devoured each one after that. I will never forget our conversations about Jane Austen, and our debates over whether Colin Firth or Matthew Macfadyen was the better Mr. Darcy. You taught me about the worlds beyond this one, the ones only found within the pages of novels, and how I had a magical ability to enter them whenever I chose. You took me to see Shakespeare on stage, and together we watched the great comedies and tragedies unfold. I owe so much to you, grandma. I can only hope that my future children and grandchildren will learn half as much from me as I did from you. Words cannot describe how much I miss you, but I will carry you with me forever in my heart, mind, and in the quilts you so lovingly sewed. You were one of the smartest, boldest, and greatest women I will ever have the pleasure to know, and it makes me proud to know that you were my grandmother. Love you forever, Nicole

As a long time quilt friend, I will miss Fran and her wisdom and friendship. She was a teacher to us all, sharing her skills and experiences in life. She raised an amazing family who supported and loved her until the end. Peace and love, Fran, and I am sure there must be quilts in Heaven.
