This afternoon on 12/12/2017 I was at Epcot's American Pavilion and enjoyed listening to the Voices of Liberty. Afterwards I asked about Trish, wife of Ken and found out he passed away, not too long ago of a heart attack. Unbelievable, for he was still considered a young senior type with a great outlook on life & eternal life. I remember back in the mid 80's he interviewed and hired me to work for his Company / Smith-Wilson Office Supplies. I started in the computer room (had weak skills there), transferred to the showroom (did better there), and finished my 3 year tenure in the warehouse, where I excelled the best. Ken used to pay me overtime to work on my days off / Saturdays (a lot of the times / since I lived across the street from his business). I'd be the only person in the entire building... but I'd be pulling / wrapping orders (a lot for Sun Bank) and then on certain weekends I'd meticioulslcy clean the hardwood floor upstairs in the furniture department too. I always admired his great character traits and am sure I emulate some of them today. Lastly, Ken and I also enjoyed playing tennis together after work at First Baptist Church of Pine Castle... he was very good / a real competitor, but did it primarily for the love of the sport & exercise / a stress relief. I wondered why his email account was non active awhile back when I tried to email him about something. I look forward to meeting up with him some day soon in our God's great eternal homes / Heaven... He has prepared for all us believers. I pray for Trish, former wife Melinda, and their two daughters Summer & Meadow. I never really knew any of those ladies / girls... only had brief acquaintances... but know they are all real sweethearts. My our Lord Jesus Christ comfort you all in this 1st Christmas season, whereas Ken is no longer present - but sining joyfully with all the other saints from times gone by... in the eternal choirs of Heaven.

We send comfort through prayers for strength and peace at this time. May the funny memories ease the pain of the loss of Ken.

Trish,
Dave and I were so sorry to learn of Ken's passing. His quick smile is what we will always remember and he will truly be missed by all who knew him. Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family during this very difficult time. Dave and Patti Robinson
