Aunt Lena was always a bright spot in my life. I did not have many opportunities to be around her in these later years, but every encounter was always with joy. She was a vibrant lady... full of life and dignity.:) Im sorry I did not know of her passing.

Honoring the dear Memory of our Great-Aunt Lena who will always be remembered for her grace, class, + love of family. She always carried herself as a true Lady with dignity, poise + graciousness. What a lovely role model for others with her faithfulness to the Lord. She will be greatly missed. Aunt Lena was the sister in law of my grandmother Carrie Howard Reedy, Tonie Howard's family from Harlan KY.

Sorry to hear about Lena's passing, she was a beautiful person, her husband Toni Howard was my distant cousin, we all lived in Harlan, Ky. yrs. ago.

Aunt Lena was an extraordinary woman. She was generous, kind, and caring. Her inner and outer beauty were punctuated by her smile and sparkling eyes. Thank you, Aunt Lena for all you did for us. (We loved your cookies. too.) We were blessed to live on the same little street as you and Uncle Tonie did while in Harlan.
