Baker, Madge Madge Elizabeth Surles Baker passed away on August 9, 2017 in New Smyrna Beach, FL after a very short illness. Madge was born in Fort Gaines, GA November 27, 1941 to parents T.L and Burdie Surles who preceded her in death. Madge moved to Orlando, FL in 1967 to teach in the Orange County School system for 30 years. Madge will be deeply missed by her loving and dedicated life partner of 20 years Bob Schlobach. Madge did not have children of her own, but she has a host of nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews, and step children and step grandchildren and a lot of school children that she loved and cared for. Her life was continuously enriched with a host of friends and family. Madge was quite the adventurous person and loved to travel all over this country and the world. Every where she went, she made everyone laugh and be happy. In lieu of flowers, Madge wished for you to contribute to your own favorite charity. A private reception for her family and friends will be later.

Deeply saddened to learn of the passing of Madge. She was a kind lady we had the privilege of knowing as a neighbor at the Pelican Condominium. She and her family will always be in our prayers.
