Thank you to Rich for his helping out in our community after the floods here this May. He gave us good information and was a calm presence during an overwhelming time. I know he did the same for many many people and communities.

So sorry to hear of this loss. Truly enjoyed working with Rich on many disasters. He was so compassionate about his work and did his best to help everyone.

I've known Rich for over 25 years and loved working with him with our Pathfinder program in Florida. He loved the Lord and he loved Pathfinder young people. He was always full of energy and was a delight to be with. See you at the big camporee in the sky my friend.

Rich was a good FEMA friend that I met in 2004 during the four hurricanes in FL. He always had a kind word with a big smile on his face. We worked together several times over the years with many interesting experiences. I am so glad that I got to visit with him in September when he was in Atlanta after being flown there from the Virgin Islands to wait out the hurricane. We had a great time remenciensing about our work with FEMA before I left on a different assignment. He was a good friend and will be missed.
