Williamson, Jr., Robert of the Mayflower Retirement Community, Winter Park, FL passed away on July 28, 2017. He was born September 7, 1925 in McComas, WV to Robert Burwell Williamson, and Elizabeth (McNeer) Williamson. He was married to Norma Jean Hall (from Bluefield WV) for 70 years. After graduating from Maury High School in Norfolk, VA, he attended the Virginia Military Institute. He served in the US Marine Corps with a tour of duty on Iwo Jima. After WW2 he graduated from West Virginia University with a degree in Mechanical Engineering. He retired from Westinghouse Electric Corporation after a 37 year career in Pittsburgh, Philadelphia, and Orlando. He was active in the Episcopal church throughout his life. In addition to his wife, he is survived by two sons: Randolph L. Williamson of Swarthmore, PA, husband of Carol, and Stephen H. Williamson of Lebanon, PA, husband of Linda. He is also survived by four grandchildren: Lindsay Williamson, Matthew Williamson, Stacey Webb, and Joshua Williamson, and four great-grandchildren. Surviving siblings include Thomas Williamson of Winston Salem, NC, and Nancy Kennedy of Columbia, SC. Burial will be in the Memorial Garden at St. Richard's Episcopal Church, Winter Park, FL. A service has been scheduled at St. Richard's Church on August 19, beginning at 11:00AM. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St. Richard's Episcopal Church, Winter Park, FL.

Bob was a special person. I enjoyed sitting with Norma and him for many years at St. Matthew's before they returned to St. Richard's when they moved into the Mayflower. He will be missed by many.
