I did not have the pleasure of meeting Mr. Earle, but I do know his wonderful daughter, Marsha. As mentioned in Mr. Earle's obituary, He had "a real sense of adventure to explore new places, learn other cultures and meet new people". Marsha inherited that traits along with his humor. Thank you Mr. Earle for spreading those traits onto your children. God bless your family. Sincerely, Margaret Irvin.

There is much I can say concerning Bill's genuine concern for others. Those of us who worked for Bill know he operated "by the book." So I wish to share a story of what he did for me only a few weeks after being hired. I went on the payroll late December, 1969, just after graduation from FSU. My wife, two young children and I rented a two story apartment on Jewell Ave. in Orlando. Around two/three weeks after I started work, my wife and I got clearly the worst case of the flu I had ever had. We were both bed ridden and were dealing with both severe bowel and upset stomach issues. Truly a horrible experience. I, of course, called the office to let them know I was ill and wouldn't be able to come in to work. Well, it was only a few hours later when there was a knock on the door. It was Bill. After his climb to the 2nd floor, I invited him in. He brought us food which the kids and my wife greatly appreciated. Then he shared an issue he had wrestled with concerning my lack of any sick or annual leave time to cover this absence. To this day, I don't know how he did it, but he made it possible for me to continue to earn my salary and pay back the time taken at a later date. Bill knew we needed every dollar at that point in our lives and he made it happen. This is who Bill Earle was, a person who set the tone of how we all should deal with the people we know and love. Thank you for the opportunity to share another tidbit about a man who was instrumental in building my character. Thanks again, Bill.

I first met Bill Earle when I went for a job interview in 1969 after graduating from FSU with an MS in Rehabilitation Counseling. I joined Bill Earle's Division of Vocational Rehabilitation office where he was District Director. My wife, two young children, and I were welcomed to Central Florida by Bill Earle and his wife Betty and their family with open arms...a cherished memory we shall never forget. Our transition from Tallahassee to Orlando and subsequent life here has been a total joy thanks in large measure to the friendship and mentoring of the Earles. People often credit someone in their past with having been a positive influence on their life. Bill Earle was that person for me. Bill's passion for life and his overriding devotion to helping others has set a high bar for the hundreds of people who new him as employees, friends, or business associates. Bill will be missed in life, but his legacy will last for years.

Marsha spoke lovingly many time of her parents. I pray the following will help Marsha to heal.

A Message Sent When Margaret's Mother Passed Away n 1976. We want to share with you and your family.

"There are no miraculous words at moments such as this. If they exist, they have eluded mankind to this day. Words can make you laugh, and words can make you cry, but words can never take away the pain and heartache that come with the loss of a loved one.

Knowing these things, this note is being sent in great sincerity; not to try and ease the pain, but to give comfort that special kind of comfort you get in knowing there is someone thinking of you who really cares. I hope you feel it."

Sincerely

Margaret and Ross Irvin
