This is a little belated, but that is neither here nor there. Neville was my therapist and my family's therapist for over 2 decades. Without him, our lives would have been far more difficult. In my experience, he was unique. He understood that the truth lies in the person not in the theory. As I tell my sons and my ex, I know that we will all are thankful that he was in our lives. I echo every sentiment that appears below. I included him in the dedications in my doctoral dissertation. I saw him last in the spring of 2013 for a chat. I will forever be grateful for how he walked side by side with us in our life journeys. He was the embodiment of all the best that a therapist can be, and was a model for my own practice. Bonne voyage, Neville.

I was thinking fondly today of Neville and looked him up online. I very much enjoyed any and every contact I had with Neville in Grad school at U of O and whenever we met until I left Ottawa in 1996. Elegant, mirthful, warm and wise. I have missed him for some time.

Dr. Taylor had a profound impact on my life and supported me when I needed it the most. He taught me to be courageous in the face of the unknown, unpredictable and uncontrollable. He is among a very few people in my life who helped shape how I interact with and perceive the world. Upon learning of his passing today, I genuinely regret not having written him a letter updating him on my progress and telling him how helpful he was, which is something I always intended to do. I hope he knew how much good he did with me. My sincerest condolences to his family. Thank you, Dr. Taylor.

I am so very sorry for your loss. I saw him for 7 years ending last year and was trying to reach him when I learned the news. He was extremely helpful to me in my time of need and we became very close albeit in the context of his office. He was a wonderful man in every way, I will miss him dearly. By the way he shared many of his insightful stories of his time in Pakistan and Afghanistan which were absolutely delighful.

I am truly at a loss for words. Dr. Taylor meant so many things to so many people, his kindness, connection to the earth and his connection to people. He made sense of things in a hard to understand world - a true gift. I will miss having tea with him. My condolences to his family.

I am so very sorry to hear oF Dr. Taylor's passing, he was a kind, gentle man with a sense of humor and deep compassion. If only there would be more people like him, the world would truly be a better place. A peacemaker and wiseman. This is a big loss. I am in tears as I write this. I only found out today.

I was so saddened to hear the news of Neville's passing. I wish I had a chance to say goodbye to him. His guidance was so important to me, especially in the passing of my own father. I will never have adequate words to express how grateful I am to him for all of his guidance over the years. His words of wisdom will live on in my memory. What a great man. My sincerest condolences to his family.

Like the ripples from a pebble
Dropped into a tranquil pond,
Through the lives of those he counselled
His light shines on and on.

He was ever wise and caring, patient, witty and kind. Rest in peace my long-time guide and friend. My condolences go out to his family.

I wrote a poem about you, and placed something in your memory, high in the big "remembrance tree" at homewood. May it stay up there for a very long time. I'll be there tomorrow, but miss you forever. Jacquie

Neville lived his life fully aided by his true love Rosemarie. In his latter days, he spoke about how he longed to share more of the wisdom he had gleaned in his life but it was a struggle given his difficulty speaking. What he did say though was not to be afraid to really love! That is a message I will carry forward in my life. A wonderful parting gift. May he rest in peace. Also, I hope Rosemarie will be sustained in the future by the memory of the life she shared with Neville.

Neville was an intelligent, insightful and supportive colleague for 35 years. We met in the early eighties at The Academy of Psychology where we both served as President in consecutive years.
Throughout our careers, Christine and I often had the opportunity to consult and work with Neville numerous times, holding him in the highest regard.
On a personal level, we shared an avid interest in cycling and XC skiing with both Neville and RoseMarie. As well we maintained our connection through complimentary interests in yoga, meditation and spiritual pursuits.
Neville will be profoundly missed. He was a wonderful man and a great colleague.
Our thoughts are with you, RoseMarie, and the family.

Mrs. Taylor & Family,
I was most saddened to hear of Dr. Taylor's passing. For the last 20+ years I was honored to have been guided through some of life's difficult times by this fine and gentle man. Though in the past couple of years we only met 2 or 3 times per year, I always enjoyed and, will miss our time together. My sincere condolences to your family.
