I had the honor of working for Mr. Wolf for 10 years and must say that these were some of the best years of my life. His kindness, warmth, and genuine care of all of his employees is unmatched. My deepest condolences and wish that many other would take the lead of Mr. Wolf on how employees should be treated within the workplace. Thank you Sir for allowing me to work for you and your company. The world is darker having lost a shining star.

Erv was a wonderful leader for me as a young geologist and manager, and he served as an inspiration for the rest of my career. He impacted many people directly, and many more for how he taught us to work with others.

I was honored to worked for Mr. Wolf at Inexco Oil Company, and later the Wolf family office for many years.

He was a dignified, caring, and kind gentleman. His love of family was inspirational.

May he rest in peace, and may the family be comforted by their many wonderful memories.

No kinder, more gentler a man has walked this Earth in my lifetime. I worked for Mr. Wolf at Inexco Oil Company from 1980 to 1986 and one of the last employees to help turn out the lights. A sad, sad day for a all of his employees and friends. He frequently came into my office in his pastel, rumpled shirts and slacks, his signature sweater and would put his feet up on my desk and ask how my day was going and what was going on with the automotive world and corporate fleet management in particular. I was the Inexco vehicle fleet administrator. He drove a classic 1976 Cadillac Eldorado coup that was black on black on black and I made sure it looked like and ran like it has just come off the showroom. He loved that car and I dearly loved him as a friend, a fellow Sailor and a great human being.
