Is it possible Rich? Has it really been two years or was it yesterday. Today I am remembering laughter, Mr. Wonderful, three-point shots, the best darned bagger Publix ever had, the passion and determination for all things sports, the dedication to the U, the love for your sisters and brothers, the bad luck with cars, Uncle Rich to all those little ones you loved so dearly, the first game at Joe Robbie when the fighter jets flew over, going to Orlando to watch Derek Harper and then going out to dinner with him, sitting behind Marino and his sons and Jason Taylor and his wife watching a private screening of Walking Tall, the picture of you and Tony with The Rock, winning Gold at the National Winter Special Olympics in the downhill the first time you ever saw skis, the state basketball championships, and your love affair with everything Michael Jordan and the Bulls.

Mostly today I am remembering the goodness and kindness that was always in your soul, our last conversation that morning, and the way you spent that day with Julie and the kids.

The pain will never go away. I am learning more everyday about concentrating on those special times. I strive to remember every word, every smile, every laugh. I cry a lot. But I think it's just self-pity. I know you are in a wonderful place and I feel a little selfish. I just wanted to make more memories with you. I love you son.
