I wish I had known Doug longer, he was so easy to talk to and had an easy going demeanor that put people at ease. I met Doug in Park City when we were visiting Kirsten, and he was very aware of the history of Kirsten and y deceased brother Marvin. Doug said it was important that he talk to me about their plans going forward and tell me how he felt about Kirsten and being a part of the family. He told me that he wasn't trying to take Marvin's place, didn't want to replace Marvin's memories or legacy. Doug certainly didn't have to ask me if marrying Kirsten was ok, but he was a man that wanted to do things the "right way", up front, and communicate what was on his mind. I wish I could have spent more time with Doug, he will always have my utmost respect and admiration as a warm and honorable man of integrity. Peace to you Doug......
