November 15,1939 - August 6,2018Barbara Ives passed away peacefully in her home on August 6,2018. She was 81 years old.She attended Westridge school, in Pasadena, Colorado State University and completed her degree in education at USC in 1958. She was an avid Trojan football fan. She loved going to and later watching and cheering for the Trojans.She took up oil painting and created many wonderful pieces of art. She also enjoyed playing tennis, bridge and entertaining her many friends and family. She was a gracious host to everyone. She was a member of the Shakespeare's Club.She loved traveling and took that love into a career as a travel agent. She was able to travel many places in the world, and that brought her a lot of happiness.She is survived by Terry Ives and her children Karen, Mike, and Mark, and grandchildren Daniel, Sydney, and Remy.She leaves here to be reunited with her mother, father and brothers.She will be missed by many friends at the La Canada Women's club and the Pasadena Women's Club which she was a current member up until her passing.She was loved by many and will be missed by all.Service will be on Wednesday, September 5,2018 at 11:00amRepast immediately following at the Women's City Club of Pasadena160 N Oakland AvePasadena, CA 91101Please sign the guestbook at legacy.com/obituaries/pasadenastarnews.Cabot & Sons Funeral Home27 Chestnut St, Pasadena, CA 91103Phone: (626) 793-7159
