Carlos as my homeboy kept in touch for about 3 years since we last seen each other in Corona. He was always different. He wasn't wild like the rest of us that hanged out on calle 4.He would disappear. All that time he was getting himself educated while we partied on.He followed God's plans for him we didn"t.My last text to him was after valentines day to say hi(2/14/2016). He kept me informed of the bad weather in Tulsa.I kept texting him but he wouldn't text back like he always did. Everytime I would hear about the storms in Oklahoma I would text him to see if he was ok and find out more about the storm. He would text back "i"m here and ok"This time I texted and he never texted back. I tried for days nothing so I went to his face book to leave him a message.I saw his facebook page was different that"s how I found out. That hurt so bad. I forgive him for not texting back.My condolences to his wife, children and entire family.Nice words can"t bring him back but we can hold his smile and kindness in our hearts.

My condolences to "Chunky's" family, I am sorry to hear of his passing. My late Husband Bobby and I knew Chunky from way back in the 80"s in Rubidoux. He had the greatest sense of humor and would go out of his way to help someone if he could his heart was enormous in that way.I know heaven has another angel.

Pops, you were so great to me! You welcomed me with open arms with my white skin and green eyes, with no hesitation to announce me as your son in law!! How could I not love you?? When I see my wife's eyes in yours! When I see my wife's smile in yours!! When I see my wife's silly sense of humor in you!! You were easy to love Carlos Cervantes, because I love you daughter for so long!! Whether we partied it up at Grandma Moncheys bday party, or at lunch in Tulsa,OK, or in my house for a weekly visit?? You were awesome to be around!! May God have you and hold you for all of us! You are much loved! In my house you are Dad, Granpa Carlos, and Pops!!! Much love from your son in law, Danny!!
